The book is dedicated to essential plant oils and their beneficial effects on the human body. The introductory chapters introduce us to the history of aromatherapy and the various ways of preparing essential oils. However, most of the text is very practically oriented and discusses in detail the various ways of using essential oils and their effects on specific diseases. We can thus read the detailed characteristics of 44 essential herbal oils (and thus also 44 medicinal herbs), including the method of use, effects, properties and use in the kitchen. In the Appendix, we can find tables for quick orientation if we are interested in which oil is suitable for a certain disease.
