The amaranth grain is exceptional primarily because of its protein, which in its composition resembles animal protein and, in combination with certain cereals, creates an ideal protein that contains all the essential amino acids. It also contains starch, which is slowly absorbed and binds water in the intestine. Last but not least, amaranth contains four times more fiber than ordinary cereals, which, together with the favorable composition of fats, leads to a reduction in cholesterol levels when using amaranth. rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); 0.9375rem;">Publisher: Čestlice : Pavla Momčilová - Medica Publishing
